4. According to the nature of the building and the function of the roof, waterproof materials are selected. In addition to the specification requirements, the following requirements shall also be met: exposed roof shall not be used, and the adhesion with the base shall be strong, anti ultraviolet and anti-aging. Waterproof material, with excellent ratio, acid rain resistance and puncture resistance. Waterproof materials with puncture resistance, mildew resistance and high tensile strength shall be used for the upper body roof. Water storage roof and planting roof shall be made of waterproof materials with corrosion resistance, mildew resistance and puncture resistance.

The roof of long-span building, such as thin shell, prefabricated structure, steel structure, etc., should be made of waterproof materials with light weight, high heat resistance and strong deformation adaptability. The inverted roof is made of waterproof material with high deformation resistance and joint sealing guarantee rate. For sloping roof, waterproof material with strong adhesion to ground base should be used, and it is sensitive to temperature. Roof joints are sealed and waterproof. The base course with strong adhesion, low temperature resistance and good sealing performance should be selected.
